There is a quiet poetry in objects shaped by hand-forms that carry the trace of gesture, of time, of intention. The collaboration between The Candle Cluub and A Catamè emerges from this sensibility: a shared desire to celebrate Italian craftsmanship as a living, evolving language.
At the center of the project is a pair of candle holders, each defined by a distinct shape, each entirely handmade. Designed to exist in dialogue, they are complementary rather than identical, two forms that speak to one another through proportion, texture, and subtle irregularities. Paired with them, two taper candles complete the composition, bringing light into the ritual.
Yet their story does not end once the flame is gone. In a gesture that embraces circularity, the candle holders are conceived to transform: from sculptural objects into functional pieces for the table, easily repurposed as napkin holders. A shift in use that extend their presence into everyday moments.
What begins as light becomes something else entirely: a detail on the table, a trace of a moment, a small expression of thoughtful living.
