There is a sculptural quality to objects shaped by hand where form, light, and material come together in quiet balance. The collaboration between The Candle Cluub and A Catamè is rooted in this sensibility: a shared exploration of Italian craftsmanship as an expression of both artistry and intention.
At the heart of the project is a pleated pillar candle, its surface defined by soft, rhythmic folds that catch and diffuse the light as it burns. Beside it, a handmade candle holder unfolds in a gentle wave, rendered in a warm terracotta hue-earthy, tactile, and deeply evocative. Together, they create a dialogue between structure and movement, precision and fluidity.
Each piece is crafted by hand, carrying the subtle irregularities that make it singular. The textures, the curves, the way light interacts with their surfaces, everything speaks to a process that values time and touch over uniformity.
The palette draws from the warmth of natural elements: sunbaked clay, softened shadows, the quiet depth of muted tones. It is an aesthetic that feels both grounded and refined, where simplicity becomes a statement.
More than objects, they are small compositions, designed to inhabit a space with presence and intention, bringing with them a sense of stillness, material beauty, and understated elegance.
